Valid Values book at Encontros da Imagem festival
In January 2025 I self‑published a limited‑run volume that gets to the core of the Valid Values project. The book isn’t sold, only given, to those who helped bring the project to life.
From September 18 to November 2 2025, at the Encontros da Imagem International Photography and Visual Arts Festival in Braga, Portugal, the book took its place in the fotobook program, alongside other visual testimonies of our age.
The pages bring together portraits and the very words the subjects submitted about Julian Assange’s case—family members, human‑rights lawyers, activists, journalists, diplomats, artists. The result is a portable essay, a piece of visual evidence that feeds the broader fight for accountability, transparency and justice.
Visitors were presented with a view of the human side behind the headlines—a reminder that behind every legal battle there are real faces and real stories.
